Is human a part of nature, or is nature just a part of human?
The sudden chirping of a bird from the branches of a nearby tree, the warmth of the sun’s rays breaking through a gray sky, a busy ladybug on a leaf, or the satisfying crunch of snow beneath your feet in winter—all these simple wonders of nature evoke a sense of peace in the soul, if only we pause to notice them. But where can a city dweller find that piece of nature to refresh their mental and physical well-being?
It’s closer than you think! We invite you to explore the Path of Mindfulness and Peace right here in Tallinn. Come discover with us!
The map below highlights a variety of natural areas within the city of Tallinn. An audio guide will help you escape the daily grind and reconnect with nature. Path of Mindfulness and Peace has no fixed starting or ending point—you can experience it in any order that suits you. Some exercises are repeated, allowing you to try them in different natural environments.
ThePath of Mindfulness and Peace is part of the temporary exhibition "Biodivercity," which opened in the fall of 2023 at our museum. Enjoy your journey of rediscovering nature!
